Infected Insect Bites
The main symptoms of an insect bite are:
- pain where you were bitten or stung
- a small, swollen lump on the skin
- Insect bites can sometimes become infected.
- The area may become more swollen and painful if it is infected.
If the insect bite is assessed as being infected by the pharmacist- they can supply antibiotic treatment.
